It seems that if your post with images from external links gets Kinja'd hitting the edit button and immediately publishing again will fix it... It's worked for me twice today.

Likewise - just because Kinja is too 'tarded to link in its own server's copies of the image doesn't mean you can't remind it.
Still a useful tip for anyone who missed that, though.

I've tried it in the past and it didn't work so I assumed it wouldn't do anything. I tried it today and it seems to work fine now.
